wifi harms trees

Electro smog harms trees.

The increasing amount of electromagnetic rays, such as through the increasing prevelance of mobile systems and wireless lans, has negative influences on trees.

This is the result of a 5 year research in the Netherlands. The research was triggered by the city Alphen aan den Rijn because a variety of symptoms were found on trees in urban areas.

The damage

Unlike trees in rural areas, trees in urban areas showed a slowed-down growth rate and a damaged bark. According to the British magazine CNet, only 10 percent of the tree population in cities showed these symptoms 5 years ago, now it is up to 70% of the trees.

Comparing samples of different close by forest areas show significant differences. The trees there do not show any of the symptoms that the trees in the cities do.

The electromagnetic wifi waves are meant to be the malicious cause, since it is one of the few environmental impacts that changed considerably in the last few years while other malicious factors were reduced.

Cnet’s comment to this:

“We like trees an’ all, but they’re no Internet. There’s only one thing for it: we’ll just have to launch all the forests into space. Right, time to make like a tree and leave.” Cnet
